Although every student in online courses has similar needs, your specific needs might be different than those of your classmates.

To help you meet those needs, select the description that best aligns with your online situation:

Myth

  • Only UConn students can take online courses at the University of Connecticut.
Reality Check
  • UConn's online courses include a variety of participants.
Tell Me More...
  • Many students in online classes at this University are not full-time students at UConn.
  • In fact, one of the reasons that online courses are so attractive to many students is because you can participate from anywhere.
  • Our online students include students from many states and many countries.
  • Some are taking classes for credit, some want to transfer credits earned to other institutions, and still others are taking courses for professional development that are not part of a degree program.
  • Although online is not for everyone, online courses meet the needs of many different kinds of learners.
