Dr. Henkle recieved his B.S from the University of California, Los Angeles and his Ph.D from Brown University. Dr. Henkle joined the faculty at the University of Connecticut in 1977. Throughout his career, he has inspired students to learn and to achieve. Reflective of this is his work on Personalized Systems of Instruction, an individually paced module- based learning program. Dr. Henkel has also strove to improve the implementation of techonology in the classroom and has published extensively in this area. Always available to his students, he addresses issues both within and without the classroom. Dr. Henkel has always shared his teaching approaches and developments with others, hoping to build a better educational environment at the University. |
