Douglas Hamilton, Ph.D


Professor Emeritus, Physics

Dr. Hamilton recieved a B.A from University of Colorado, and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin. He joined the faculty at the University of Connecticut in 1979.

Dr. Hamilton has taught both undergraduate and graduate level classes with great distinction. A dedicated teacher, he has made innovative and pioneering efforts to integrate computer technology into laboratory teaching. A well published scholar, Dr. Hamilton is widely know for his studies on the interaction of light with condensed matter.
