Associate Professor, Educational Psychology Dr. Del Siegle received his B.S. and his M.Ed. from Montana State University and his Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut. He joined the faculty of the University of Connecticut in 1999. Dr. Siegle has taught in various areas of gifted education and elementary education, learning theory, technology, and educational psychology. He has outstanding instructional skills and is very creative. Most importantly, he shows concern and care for his students and fellow colleagues. In addition to teaching, he has continued his research agenda, secured grant funding, conducted professional development training for public schools, assumed leadership positions in professional organizations, and created an online Master's Program for Gifted and Talented Education. This program has over 120 students enrolled in classes each semester. Dr. Siegle has monitored all class development, coordinated all aspects of this program, and ensured continuing quality control of all new classes. He is highly regarded by his students and colleagues for his achievements and will undoubtedly continue to make significant contributions to teaching in the future. |
