David Miller, Ph.D

Dr. Miller recieved his B.A from the University of Florida and both his M.S and Ph.D from the University of Miami. He joined the faculty at the University of Connecticut in 1980.

Dr. Miller's teaching is characterized by a desire to use technology in order to offer his students ever-broadening contexts for the complex systems of information involved in his ecological approach to the study of animal behavior. By exploring the pedagogical benefits of computer technology, he has expanded the traditional lecture format, and facilitated the student's ability to experience and implement phenomena and methodologies. Dr. Miller's extensive honors and awards not only reflect his scholarship and teaching, but also his dedication to his students.
