CTCs - Computer Technology Competency

 

Computer Technology Competency or CTC is a component of General Education requirements at the University of Connecticut. Designed to ensure that all incoming students have sufficient skills and knowledge in the use of computers and associated computer technology to begin study at UConn, eight areas are covered in online instruction:

  • Computer Operation
  • Word Processing
  • Presentation Software
  • Spreadsheets
  • Databases
  • Graphics and Multimedia
  • Internet - Web Basics
  • Electronic Communication
