Faculty Consultation

The IDD group is in a unique position to act as a resource for questions related to teaching, learning and technology. Through the processes of research, course design, and faculty consultation, we are continuously adding to our knowledge base which in turn can be shared with the faculty at large. As such, we welcome faculty to consult with us on any questions related to pedagogy, educational theory, and the relevant use of technology in educational settings.

Consultations can result in various outcomes. Often the outcome is as simple as the sharing of knowledge and literature. Some consultations lead to referrals to other university departments. Other consultations have led to full scale investigations and implementation of new technologies. Frequently, consultations will lead to one or more of the other services we offer such as full course design, assessment and evaluation, or faculty development. Regardless of the outcome, we pride ourselves on our ability to find answers and provide solutions for all the staff and faculty who consult with us.
