Welcome to the Instructional Design & Development Unit of the Institute for Teaching & Learning. As an academic support unit within ITL, our charge is to introduce faculty to instructional design, which is an encompassing solution to the many issues faculty face in the area of teaching and learning.

We offer various levels of service along a continuum. Intensive course development or course redesign with faculty reflects our most in depth design model. We also help faculty develop technological solutions to enhance their courses based on learning objectives they have outlined. We offer other services ranging from focusing on learning objectives for existing courses to developing assessment and evaluation for courses.
